Bamboo Silk Sock yarn perfectly blends soft merino wool, bamboo and silk.

The Merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable; therefore, it will not felt when dyed or washed, making it a great yarn for an easy-care project.

The merino also provides some warmth and stretch to the yarn, while the bamboo is breathable, making sure any garment made from this yarn will not be too hot.

Bamboo is also anti-bacterial, making garments odour free (perfect for socks!)

Finally, the mulberry silk gives strength, a smooth shine, and lustre, which exceptionally shows off paler colours.

The merino used is mulesing-free and comes from South America.
