Superwash Merino DK is a lovely standard DK weight yarn made from 100% superwash merino meaning that the fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not felt when dyed or washed.
It is a great yarn for an easy-care garment.
The merino is 21 microns and therefore very soft and not at all itchy or scratchy next to the skin.
The Merino is mulesing free and comes from South America.
The yarn is a good bright colour and would dye up well in subtle light shades or bright and vibrant colours.
For bright vibrant colours, we recommend using acid or natural dyes.
